A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood Wednesday morning.
The woman, who has not been identified, was struck at the intersection of South Dallas Avenue and Reynolds Street.
When first responders arrived, the woman was unconscious and not breathing, according to public safety officials. CPR was administered until medics took her to the hospital.
The woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, public safety officials said.
