The polls have closed in most of Western Pennsylvania on Election Day 2024.
Cambria County polls are staying open until 10 p.m. because of an issue with scanning machines.
Voters coming out to decide between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump for president drove a high turnout at the polls.
Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat was also on the ballot with incumbent Bob Casey trying to fend off Republican challenger Dave McCormick.
Several U.S. House seats were also on the ballot. And state offices (state treasurer, attorney general and auditor general) were also in play.
