Apollo

• A free community Thanksgiving meal will be served from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Grace Assembly of God, 609 First St. Ext. Dine in or takeout.

Arnold

• A free Thanksgiving meal will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 28 at Speed Family Blessing Box and Pantry, 1826 Freeport Road. Sponsored by Tastefully Blessed Smokehouse. No reservations required.

• A free community Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Tomb, 1821 Fifth Ave. Sponsored by St. George Orthodox Church.

Brackenridge

• A free dine-in Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Salvation Army of Allegheny Valley, 917 Brackenridge Ave. No reservations required.

Freeport

• A free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 28 in the fellowship hall at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, 608 High St. Dine in, takeout or delivery. Reservations required by Nov. 20. Reservations:724-448-9251 or stmaryfreeport.com.

Kiski Township

• New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 1559 Route 56, will have a free Thanksgiving dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. Details: 724-478-4525.

Leechburg

• Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., will host its 15th annual free Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 28 at the church. Takeout dinners will be available at noon and the sit-down dinners will be served at 1 p.m. Reservations required by Nov. 22. Donations will be accepted. Lower Burrell

• Free takeout Thanksgiving dinners will be available from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 28 in the rear parking lot at Bethel United Methodist Church, 150 Alder St. Sponsored by Compassion Network.
