The “Queen of Christmas,” Mariah Carey, will not be bringing her “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time” tour to Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena tonight, as previously scheduled.

“Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much,” Carey said in a statement issued as a message to fans.

The singer — whose annual hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts this week, for the sixth December running — was set to perform a show that would be a mix of holiday tunes including “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “O Holy Night” and her own hits, such as “Hero” and “Fantasy,” according to previous set lists for this tour.

According to Ticketmaster, those who purchased tickets will get refunds to their original method of payment within 14-21 days.

Carey previously performed her Christmas tour at the same venue on Dec. 5 of last year.

Disappointed fans who need a little cheering up after the news can look to Carey’s two Christmas albums, “Merry Christmas” (which was released 30 years ago in 1994) and “Merry Christmas II You” (2010) to keep their festive spirit alive.
