It’s still cold outside, but that’s not stopping the concert schedule from beginning to heat up, with a handful of sold-out shows, including a solo show from a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. A country star in her first arena headlining tour and a renowned R&B group are among the other top concerts coming to Pittsburgh in February:

Feb. 4: Billy F. Gibbons and the BFGs at Jergel’s

Billy Gibbons, the ZZ Top guitarist/singer, will play an intimate, sold-out show at Jergel’s with his solo band, Billy F. Gibbons and the BFGs.

Although he released a new single last week, “Livin’ It Up Down in Texas,” the show is sure to be filled with ZZ Top classics like “La Grange” and “Sharp Dressed Man,” as well as some other covers like Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady.” There could be more new music on the way from the BFGs and ZZ Top this year.

“I suspect that 2025 may reveal something new on both fronts,” Gibbons told guitarplayer.com.

Feb. 7: Kelsea Ballerini, Maisie Peters, Marynn Taylor at PPG Paints Arena

Country star Kelsea Ballerini, who will serve as a judge on the 27th season of “The Voice,” brings her Live On tour to Pittsburgh.

The “Peter Pan” and “Miss Me More” singer released her fifth studio album, “Patterns,” in October, including the single, “Cowboys Cry Too” with Noah Kahan. Ballerini’s last appearance in Pittsburgh came in a headline show in 2023 at Stage AE, and she recently reflected on moving up from smaller shows to her arena tour.

“They’re all such good memories and there were no sets that were skipped,” she told audacy.com. “Going from the Texas Roadhouse to the local bar and then the club and then the theatre, I’ve gotten to see every side of each of these cities, which is really special.”

Feb. 16: Boyz II Men at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

The iconic R&B group Boyz II Men are back for another show in Pittsburgh after selling out Rivers Casino last year.

With songs like “End of the Road” and “Motownphilly,” the group originally from Philadelphia is coming in as the winner of Season 12 of “The Masked Singer,” where they competed as “Buffalos.”

“We thought it was going to be too much — putting on a suit of some sort, sweating, being hot, feeling claustrophobic and all that other stuff. And guess what? We felt all of those things. But in the midst of doing the show, we understood why this show is successful,” Shawn Stockman told vibe.com. “We got caught up and we were like, ‘Listen, let’s win this thing. Let’s have fun, but let’s win this thing.’ And we made sure that we did all that we could to make sure that we sealed that deal.”
