With less than a week until the Super Bowl, fans might be looking to score last-minute tickets. You might be in luck — ticket prices are dropping, according to reports.
To watch the Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl 59, the cheapest ticket has fallen below $4,000 on the secondary market, according to reseller TickPick, CNN Business reported.
This price is more than 50% cheaper compared to Super Bowl 58, and it marks a 30% decline over the past week, CNN Business said.
The 2025 Super Bowl is Sunday at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
Despite the Chiefs hoping to be the first team in history to win three successive Super Bowl rings, prices remain lower this year, according to CNN Business.
In 2024, Super Bowl tickets were the most expensive on record, according to TickPick, with average prices around $9,365 on the secondary market, USA Today reported. The cheapest ticket could be found on Gametime for $5,361, which was $7,189 with fees just one day before the game.
For reference, Super Bowl 57’s average ticket price was $5,795, TickPick said.
StubHub told USA Today Sports that the average ticket price last week was $8,076 — a decrease of 14% from the same time last year. Other secondary marketplace sellers, such as SeatGeek and TickPick, also are reporting a decrease in prices this year.

The 2025 Super Bowl halftime show will feature Kendrick Lamar, who has been on the stage at the NFL’s biggest occasion once before, USA Today said. The Los Angeles-based rapper joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and a long list of West Coast hip-hop stars on stage at SoFi Stadium at halftime in 2022.
The Caesars Superdome’s larger seating capacity at about 74,000 compared to Las Vegas’ 65,000 last year could be a reason prices are lower, CNN Business said, along with a potential for Chiefs fatigue among football fans.
Another reason could be that the host city is also still reeling from a terrorist attack last month when a man drove a pickup truck into a crowd and opened fire, killing 14 people and injuring at least 35, according to CNN.
