The King of Country is coming to Pittsburgh.

Country music icon George Strait will be joined by Chris Stapleton and Parker McCollum for a May 31 show at Acrisure Stadium.

Known for songs like “The Chair,” “Amarillo By Morning” and “All My Exes Live in Texas,” Strait joined the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006 and released his 31st studio album, “Cowboys and Dreamers,” in 2024. Stapleton is an 11-time Grammy winner, including best country solo performance for “It Takes a Woman” earlier this year.

Strait, who played 10 stadium shows last year, has four other shows planned for 2025: May 10 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia; June 14 at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo; June 21 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.; and July 19 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have,” Strait said in a release. “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year.”
