A woman shot Thursday morning in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood has died.

Pittsburgh police said they found the woman, who they did not name, at 8:30 a.m. inside a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Chartiers Avenue and Sutherland Street.

Firefighters on the scene administered CPR until medics took the woman to a hospital.

The Sheraden homicide was the fourth this year in Pittsburgh, city data shows.

Police also have reported five nonfatal shootings, as of Thursday morning.
