Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Dominik Kahun has signed with Lausanne of Switzerland’s National League (NL).

That team announced on Tuesday it has agreed to a three-year contract with Kahun that will run through the 2026-27 season.

On Monday, his previous team, Bern (also of the NL), terminated his contract at his request.

In 24 games this season, Kahun has scored nine points (two goals, seven assists). The 29-year-old has spent the past four seasons with Bern.

Kahun spent part of one season with the Penguins in 2019-20. Appearing in 50 games, he scored 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists).

A native of Czechia who grew up in Germany, Kahun played for four NHL clubs, including the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres and Edmonton Oilers.
