Duquesne junior guard Kareem Rozier, who played in 101 games the past three seasons, entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal on the first day that it opened Monday, a source told TribLive.

Rozier averaged career highs in points (6.7) and assists (3.2) per game this season, but he started only 10 of 32 games and his 3-point shooting percentage fell from 38.1 in 2023-24 to 31.5. He also started only 10 games, down from 21 the previous season during Duquesne’s NCAA Tournament run.

Rozier played in 32 games as a freshman in 2022-23, averaging 3.9 points and 1.2 assists per game.
