Art on Tap: Art-Fools Day

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art’s monthly adult evening event is riffing off of April Fool’s Day this month with a hilarious, fun time. Art-Fools Day will have you and your friends rolling with laughter.

The party for those age 21 and older will include stand-up comedy by comedian Augie Cook and others, in addition to caricature artists and other surprises. Plus, take the chance to peek around the museum while you’re there.

Each $15 ticket ($12 for members) will include some light bites, all of the entertainment and one drink ticket. A cash bar is available as well. Art-Fools Day will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. Register at thewestmoreland.org.

‘Elephant and Piggie’s We Are In A Play’

Bringing the pages of Mo Willems’ children’s books to life, this play for kids will delight the whole family. Watch best friends Gerald the Elephant and Piggie on their adventures together.

This production is by Greensburg Civic Theater’s Grease Paint Players and is full of catchy tunes that the whole audience will be singing. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.

Easter egg hunt and brunch

Peter Cottontail is hopping down the bunny trail, with Easter next weekend. This Sunday, the Greensburg Country Club is hosting an Easter egg hunt, with an accompanying brunch, open to the public.

The egg hunt will be divided into two age groups (age 6 and younger, and age 7-13) and will include plenty of fun surprises. Brunch will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, gourmet salads and much more. There also will be a visit with the Easter Bunny.

Younger kids will start hunting at 10 a.m., and the older age group starts at 10:30. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The country club is at 309 Pleasant Valley Road in Hempfield. For pricing and more, visit greensburgcountryclub.golf.

Art on the Vine 2025

The Greensburg Art Center’s annual fundraiser this year will celebrate the work of famous artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. On Friday night, the fundraiser will be a full of beautiful art and libations to support the Center.

The fundraiser will include wine, food tables, hand-painted art glasses for each attendee, live music, a silent auction and more. Tickets cost $50 per person.

Magical Mystery Doors: Zeppelin Reimagined
