When Bryan Murray hadn’t heard from his fiancee Friday morning, he went to the Rostraver home where they lived to check on her, according to a search warrant filed by police Tuesday.

Murray reported to township police that he found Jennah M. Seibert, 24, dead in a bed around noon Friday.

According to Rostraver police, Murray met an officer outside the home and said “She’s dead. Oh my God. You need to get these people who killed her. They stole her car.”

Authorities have said Seibert was fatally shot. Murray told police her throat was cut, according to the warrant, which said the victim was found by police “with a large amond of blood around her neck and face, with what appeared to be trauma to the neck area.”

In the warrant, Rostraver police sought video and photograph surveillance evidence from CFS Bank in Monongahela in connection with Seibert’s death.

Authorities continue to piece together evidence in an effort to determine who fatally injured Seibert at the Lenity School Road home Friday. Earlier this week, they sought help from the public to identify a person of interest who may be connected to the investigation.

Westmoreland County District Attorney spokeswoman Melanie Jones said Wednesday she could not provide an update on the person of interest. It was unclear if he had been identified by police.

A Lexus GX550 SUV belonging to the couple was stolen from the home and tracked through the vehicle’s GPS, license plate readers and traffic cameras to Monongahela. Police said the SUV, with an unknown person driving it, was traveling in Monongahela around 9:15 a.m. Friday. The SUV was recovered in Monongahela.

That led investigators to seek video and photograph surveillance evidence from CFS Bank, whose system captured the SUV driving past its West Main Street location, according to the warrant. The images and video of the person of interest released by authorities Monday depict a bearded man wearing dark clothing and a ski cap at a checkout counter of a Monongahela convenience store just after 9 a.m. on Friday.

Police received a flash drive from the bank, according to an inventory filed with a district court in Monongahela. The inventory did not detail anything on the flash drive.

No charges have been filed in connection with Seibert’s death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Westmoreland County detective bureau at 724-830-3287 or Rostraver police at 724-929-4111.

Investigators are seeking additional photographs and videos from residential and business surveillance cameras in the Rostraver, Monongahela and Donora areas taken between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on April 11 that may show the man or SUV.

Seibert and Murray were scheduled to be married in October, according to her obituary.
