INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 10-9) was shelled 16-4 by St. Paul (Twins). RHP Carson Fulmer (1-1, 4.82) gave up a first-inning grand slam and a two-run homer amongst his five total hits against. He yielded seven runs, walked five and struck out five in three innings to suffer the loss. RHP Colin Holderman (5.40) gave up three hits, including a solo home run, and struck out a batter in two-thirds of an inning as he continued his rehab assignment. LHP Randy Labaut (1.86) and RHP Yohan Ramirez (7.88) each fanned three in their relief appearances. The Indians finished with 13 hits but could not string much together to produce more than four runs. 1B Darick Hall (.240) went 2 for 5 with a home run, his first, an RBI single and a pair of strikeouts. SS Liover Peguero (.323) went 1 for 4 with a two-run home run, his first of the season. CF Ji Hwan Bae (.250) was 3 for 5 with three singles, his fourth stolen base of the year and scored a run. 2B Nick Yorke (.227) also hit three singles and struck out twice. DH Malcolm Nunez (.268) was 2 for 4 with a pair of singles and scored on Peguero’s home run. Middle infielder Alika Williams came on to pitch the ninth and surrendered a grand slam.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 8-8) shut out Chesapeake (Orioles), 2-0. LHP Hunter Barco (0.00) started and went 4⅔ innings, giving up two hits, walking two and striking out eight. RHP Valentin Linarez (3-0, 3.38) struck out two and allowed one hit in an inning to pick up the win. RHPs Wilkin Ramos (0.00) and Cam Sanders (0.00) did not give up a hit in 2⅓ and an inning of work, respectively. Sanders picked up his fifth save. DH Termarr Johnson (.245) went 1 for 4 with his second home run of the season, a solo shot in the third inning. RF Sammy Siani (.182) hit an RBI single in the eighth. 2B Mitch Jebb (.227) walked and hit a pair of singles. C Shawn Ross (.222) and 3B Brenden Dixon (.220) each went 1 for 4 with a single.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 12-4) beat Bowling Green (Rays) by a 6-5 decision. CF Lonnie White Jr. (.244) went 1 for 4 with a two-run single. 1B Emerlyn Valdez (.370) was 2 for 4 with his fifth home run of the season, a solo shot, and a single. 3B Keiner Delgado (.350) went 2 for 4 with two singles and an RBI. RF Shalin Polanco (.214) went 0 for 4 with an RBI groundout and three strikeouts. RHP Antwone Kelly (3.60) started and went four innings, giving up five runs on six hits, walked three and fanned two. LHP Connor Oliver (1-0, 3.95) gave up three hits and struck out five in four shutout innings to earn the win. RHP Franck De La Rosa (5.40) walked one and struck out one in an inning for the save.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 5-11) was walked off by Lakeland (Tigers), 2-1. RHP Jake Shirk (0-1, 3.24) gave up an RBI single to Lakeland catcher Ricardo Hurtado that scored 2B Franyerber Montilla. The Lakeland duo ran the same script in the fourth inning off starting RHP Clevari Tejada (5.68), who gave up three hits and struck out three in four innings. LHP Isaias Uribe (7.11) struck out three, walked one and gave up one hit in two innings of relief. LHP Hunter Furtado (3.12) gave up no runs and struck out four in two shutout innings. C Axiel Plaz (.304) went 1 for4 and doubled in the seventh, advanced to third on a balk and later scored on a wild pitch. Plaz had the only extra base hit for the Marauders. 3B Jhonny Severino (.180), CF Braylon Bishop (.195), DH Ethan Lege (.250) and 1B Eddy Rodriguez (.222) each hit a single.
