President Donald Trump has officially dropped “Trump 2028” hats on his Trump Store website as of Thursday — for a steep price.

The hats, which cost $50 each, were uploaded after 1 p.m. Thursday to the site.

“The future looks bright!” the description reads. “Rewrite the rules with the Trump 2028 high crown hat.”

The line references the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which limits a president to two, four-year terms in office. It was ratified in 1951.

Per this rule, since Trump has begun his second term in the Oval Office, he is ineligible to run in 2028 for a third term.

The new hat for sale elicited both support and pushback on the social media platform X.

According to the website, the hat is made in America, and it includes a snap closure, embroidered front and flag embroidery on the side.

In the listing, Trump’s son, Eric Trump, models the new hat while sitting in an office chair. Some users online have speculated if the hat is a nod to another Trump running in 2028 instead of the incumbent.

Because of “high demand,” the Trump store website said supporters who order the hats should allow five to 10 business days to process prior to shipping.
