ArtsWalk 2025

ArtsWalk, organized by the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, the Westmoreland Cultural Trust and Seton Hill University, is a chance for attendees to explore the local arts scene around Greensburg.

Downtown locations will host live performances, art displays and other experiences. Retailers, restaurants and local businesses also will participate, so make sure to explore.

ArtsWalk 2025 will take place primarily at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Seton Hill University Art Center and The Palace Theatre. The event will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with many exciting performances scheduled. Learn more at greensburgartswalk.com.

Food Truck Friday

It’s a beautiful weekend to get some friends together, get out to the park, enjoy some tasty eats and dance the night away to live music. Derry Borough’s Food Truck Friday will make the perfect night out.

From 4 to 7 p.m., tasty food and treats from T&D Bakers, Jojo’s Snack Shack, Spanky’s Rollin’ Kitchen, Spanky’s Scoops and more will be available for purchase. The event also will feature entertainment by Laura Rullo and Detention.

Bushy Run Market Day

Bushy Run Battlefield will start its once monthly markets for the season. They’ll run through September, but this Saturday is the first chance of the year to check out these local vendors.

This open air market will feature a wide variety of merchants, including farmers, artisans, bakers, musicians and more. Not only is this a great chance to shop local and support the makers in your community, but it’s also an opportunity to enjoy the scenery of Bushy Run Battlefield in the fresh air.

The Cars tribute

Get into the ’70s and ’80s groove with Best Friends Girl, a tribute to The Cars. The synth-infused rock of this classic band’s hits are sure to get the floor rocking Saturday night.

The Cars are memorable for hits including “Just What I Needed” and “Let The Good Times Roll,” and this tribute will bring all those tunes and more to the stage. The show will be held at 8 p.m. at The Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin. Tickets are $30 each. Get yours at lamptheatre.org.

‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ live show

Who doesn’t love improv comedy TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Dating back to the 1990s, a stable of regular guests have made live and television audiences hoot with laughter. Now you can be the live audience.

On Friday night, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” — the live tour of comedians from the show — will get comedy lovers rolling in the aisles in Greensburg. Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will perform 90 minutes of side-splitting improv comedy.
