Off-road motorcycle riders are set to compete in the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Saturday inside Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium.

The elite riders — including Jett Lawrence, Cooper Webb and Haiden Deegan — will vie for the title of Supercross Champion.

Beaver County’s Brian ‘JR’ Saunier, a Hopewell Area High School graduate, is competing.

Here are five things you need to know about the event:

1. It’s a daylong event

Parking lots open for the championship at 10 a.m. Saturday, along with the ticket office.

FanFest and the qualifiers starts at noon, where attendees can see the rider practice and qualify for the races, meet their favorite riders, see the bikes up close and more. Gate A-East and Heinz Gate C will be open for FanFest. Acrisure is full of millions of pounds of dirt for the track.

The remaining gates at Acrisure will open at 6 p.m., with opening ceremonies starting at 6:30 p.m.

The final races will begin at 7 p.m., and the night will end with a trophy presentation at 10 p.m.

2. Parking can be pricey

Parking will be available Saturday surrounding Acrisure Stadium, according to its website’s map, with lots opening at 10 a.m.

Though fans are encouraged to use North Shore parking lots, there are other alternative and cheaper parking options.

Here’s the full list:

• Downtown & Ride the T (

• NOVA Place ($15)

• Station Square & Gateway Clipper ($30)

• North Shore Lots & Garages ($35)

• Champions Garage ($25)

• Carnegie Science Center ($35)

• Rivers Casino Garage ($80)

Parking spaces can be pre-purchased online, and and the Champions Garage spots located behind the Hyatt Hotel can be purchased through the Park Mobile App.

3. Acrisure policies will be in place

Attendees should bring credit or debit cards, or make sure Apple or Google Pay is set up on their phones because Acrisure Stadium is a cashless venue.

The NFL’s clear bag policy will be in effect for the Supercross Championship as well. If necessary, a clear plastic 1 gallon Ziploc bag or a small handheld purse clutch can be brought inside.

The following items aren’t permitted inside the stadium: selfie sticks, coolers, bags (see Clear Bag Policy), thermoses, backpacks, large purses, cans, glass bottles, flasks, alcoholic beverages, laser pointers, noisemakers, strollers, video & movie cameras, tripods, audio recording equipment, weapons and any other items deemed dangerous and/or inappropriate.

Umbrellas may be brought into the stadium but are not permitted to be open in the seating bowl.
