Laura Fessenden, of Los Angeles, but was visiting family in Greensburg, smiles while her son, Nolan Fessenden, 3, places a candy decoration on his cookie during the cookie decorating contest on Frida at Latrobe Art Center in downtown Latrobe. The event was sponsored by Saint Vincent College and the Be My Neighbor Committee, as part of Mister Rogers Family Days that have spanned all week and end on Saturday.

On June 2 an open house at the Fred Rogers Institute in Unity and Greater Latrobe High School featured Fred Rogers themed exhibits
Daily activities included a farmer’s market, night market, children’s book giveaway, art show and cookie decorating. A downtown festival Saturday capped the week.
