Scott Simpson has some company.
At the 1983 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, Simpson aced the 16th hole during the first round. It stood as the only hole-in-one in the history of U.S. Opens at Oakmont.

France’s Victor Perez aced the par-3 sixth hole during his second round at the U.S. Open. Perez and his caddie chest-bumped as the crowd around the green roared.
