After Penn-Trafford won the PIAA softball championship Friday at Penn State, Warriors coach Denny Little had his players take photos with some younger fans celebrating from the bleachers at Beard Field.
He said it would be nice to make it a tradition.
The next generation of girls will have a chance to learn from the best.
The state champion Warriors players and coaches will offer their expertise to budding talent in the area with an instructional camp from 9 a.m. to noon on June 25-26 at the Penn-Trafford High School field.
The camp is for girls ages 8 to 12.
Money raised from the event will go towards the purchasing of championship rings through the Penn-Trafford Softball Boosters.
The camp is for 35 participants, so space is limited.
Cost is $75 per camper. Contact: coachlittle35@comcast.net.
