The 6-foot-3, 240-pound rising senior defensive lineman chose the Penguins over other Division I offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Hampton, Miami (Ohio), Sacramento State, Troy and UNLV, according to Rivals.
Gorman, a first-team all-conference selection in the Allegheny 7, helped the Saints earn the top seed in the 2024 WPIAL Class 3A playoffs. They lost 14-6 to Avonworth, the eventual WPIAL champion, in the WPIAL semifinals.
