Penn Hills knows how to celebrate summer.
The municipality partnered with the North Bessemer and Rosedale volunteer fire departments to present the 2025 Community Carnival & SummerFest.
The four-day event was held from July 2-5 at Turner Friendship Park, with SummerFest saved for that Saturday.
There were a variety of rides, games, food vendors, community booths and live music each night to keep people of all ages entertained and well-fed.
The party atmosphere was capped on the last day with a fireworks display by New Castle-based Pyrotecnico.
