Pittsburgh Police and SWAT reported to a home on Broad Street in the city’s Garfield neighborhood early Sunday morning.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, police received reports of an adult man barricaded inside a residence following a domestic situation. They arrived at the home around 5:15 a.m.
Public Safety said police did a “thorough search” of the home and were unable to locate anyone inside. A woman with head injuries was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
