Two men were shot overnight in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Police were dispatched just after 3 a.m. Saturday to the 5000 block of Butler Street for reports of a shooting, according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department’s social media pages.

Shortly after, the two men who were shot arrived at a nearby hospital by private transportation.

One male is believed to be in his 20s and was shot in the torso. He is in critical condition, Pittsburgh Public Safety said Saturday morning.

The second male is in his 30s and in stable condition after being shot in the leg.

Police detained one man for questioning, and the investigation is ongoing.

The shootings occurred about 12 hours after two people were shot in Downtown Pittsburgh. Those shootings occurred on Penn Avenue near the Barcelona Wine Bar, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials.
