One person was transported to the hospital Saturday morning following a vehicle crash on a portion of Route 28.
The incident was reported just after 4 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 28 near the East Ohio Street and Chestnut Street exits.
Allegheny County 911 dispatch said that the road reopened to traffic shortly before 6:30 a.m.
The northbound lanes of Route 28 were closed for about three hours, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
It was still unclear if anyone else was injured around 7:30 a.m. Saturday, dispatch said.
