The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General announced that employees have been dealing with an ongoing cyber incident since last week.
Outages affected the website and disabled office email accounts and the landline phones.
The website was rebooted early Wednesday afternoon but still had outages on the home improvement contractor registration and information pages. The website was not fully accessible again until Monday, according to a news release.
Attorney General Dave Sunday said in the release that access is being restored to Office of Attorney General email accounts and on-boarding employees onto their email is expected to be completed within the coming days.
The release also said that the phone lines continued phone lines to be done and the office was continue to navigate additional impacts from the incident.
”Our top priorities have been to continue to work on behalf Pennsylvanians, and to be able to stay in communication with our constituents and communities as we do so,” Sunday said.
The Office of Attorney General was unable to be reached for immediate comment.
It was unclear on Monday what the expected timeline is for everything to be fully restored and what the additional impacts of the outage were.
