A woman is dead following a fire Tuesday night at a senior apartment complex in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at 8:15 p.m. at Riverview Manor along Letort Street, according to statement from Pittsburgh public safety officials.

The woman was found in an apartment in cardiac arrest. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man also suffered a wrist laceration.

Authorities were working with building management at the scene to find temporary accommodations for displaced residents.

A cause has yet to be determined.

Riverview Manor has about 100 units and is run by National Church Residences.
