Three people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles Monday morning in Mt. Pleasant Borough.
Two patients were taken to the town’s Independence Health Frick Hospital while the third was flown from a landing zone at that hospital to UPMC East hospital in Monroeville, according to a Westmoreland County 911 supervisor.
The crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. at North Church Street and Park Avenue.
Emergency crews worked to free at least one motorist from the wreckage.
Firefighters from Norvelt assisted Mt. Pleasant fire units, clearing the scene by about 8:45 a.m.
