Father and son found shot to death in Pleasant Hills home

Police and SWAT were called to a home along Nantucket Drive in Pleasant Hills on Monday morning. Two people were found dead following a shooting inside the home.

A father and his adult son were found shot to death Monday morning in their Pleasant Hills home, according to Allegheny County police.

Police were notified at 7:21 a.m. of a potential shooting at a home on the 400 block of Nantucket Drive and received no response when they arrived. The county’s SWAT Team entered the home about two hours later and discovered the two men with single gunshot wounds.

Officials said the victims have been identified but has not yet made their names public. Investigators said there is no threat to the public.

The county police’s homicide unit is investigating and ask that anyone with information to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
