After the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Jets 34-32 on Sunday, quarterback Aaron Rodgers summed up the victory perfectly.

“The best part about Week 1 victories like this is there’s so much correctable tape,” Rodgers said. “It’s like a coach’s dream journal. To win, but also to have some correctable moments? I’m sure all the coaches are going to be watching the film on the way back and not celebrating and remembering.”

Amen, Aaron. Amen.

While the Jets were racking up 182 rushing yards in the season opener, I took a shot at the Steelers’ alleged “historic” defense.

Someone who preemptively blocked me before I got in my mentions (@VThunder6969) sent this reply.

”One player says it, so therefore the entire team is saying it nonstop. Never change, brother.”

Sir, it wasn’t “one player.”The flippin’ head coach himself said it on the franchise’s flagship radio station. 

But don’t worry. I won’t change. Youprobablyshould, though.

”Shark Bite”thinks someone besides just Broderick Jones should be taking heat in the Steelers’ trenches. 

”Broderick Jones has been a problem from day 1 & it has been obvious.But Keeanu Benton has had3years of playinghorrible &it’s gone under the radaruntil recently.But now we’ve seen enough to know he needs to be out of the starting lineup when Harmon is healthy.”

That’sprobably because when Benton is beaten, an elderly quarterback isn’t getting crushed behind him as a result of the play.

But I still don’t know that you’re right.My guess isIsaiahh Loudermilk loses playing time before Benton does once Harmon gets healthy.
