Tristyn Tavares
Norwin, Sr., QB
The senior quarterback threw three touchdown passes and rushed for two in leading the Knights to a 56-13 win against Seneca Valley in the Class 6A opener last week. He completed 6 of 9 passes for 88 yards and he rushed for 101 yards. The third-ranked Knights will be tested Friday when they host No. 2 North Allegheny at Norwin Knights Stadium.

Stanley Betters
Southmoreland, Jr., WR/DB
Betters has four catches for 80 yards this season, including two catches for 37 yards in a win against Blackhawk last week. He also recorded five tackles, four solo, and knocked down a pass on defense. He and the Scotties will host Ringgold in a nonconference clash Friday.
Jacob Petalino
Ligonier Valley, Jr., WR/S
The junior is third in all-purpose yards this season for Ligonier Valley. He has scored two touchdowns (one rushing and one receiving) this season. He also is a top defender with 23 tackles and two tackles for losses. Petalino and the Rams will host OLSH in a Class 2A Allegheny Conference game Friday.
Tavion Taylor
Monessen, Sr., OL/DL
Taylor has recorded 42 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, four sacks, forced three fumbles, two passes defensed, an interception, a blocked punt and a touchdown this season for the Greyhounds, who will head to No. 1 Fort Cherry for a Black Hills Conference battle Friday.
