Authorities are looking for a teenager charged with killing his father in East Pittsburgh last week.

Allegheny County Police on Tuesday said Tayron Reid, 19, shot his father, Ta’Ron Reid, 45, multiple times on Sept. 16 inside a Ridge Avenue home.

Eastern Regional Mon Valley police responded to the house around 10:35 p.m. after someone reported gunshots.

Two days later, county police charged Reid with homicide.

The alleged shooter last lived in Pittsburgh’s Hill District neighborhood, county police said. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs 150 pounds.

Reid is potentially armed and dangerous, county police said. Police warned against approaching Reid and asked anyone who sees him to call 911.
