Pine-Richland junior Khalil Taylor, one of the top wide receiver recruits nationally, is no longer committed to Penn State.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound wideout had committed to the Nittany Lions in March, but Taylor on Friday told recruiting website Rivals he had decommitted. Taylor on social media shared the Rivals story about his decision.

Rivals rates him as a four-star prospect and ranks him 11th among junior wide receivers nationally.

Besides Penn State, Taylor also had Power 4 offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wisconsin when he committed. He later announced offers from Florida State and Notre Dame.

Taylor made 51 catches for 932 yards and scored 22 touchdowns last season at Seton LaSalle. He earned first-team all-conference honors for the second year in a row before transferring schools.

In six games at Pine-Richland, Taylor has a team-high 12 touchdowns this season.
