Hear ye, hear ye, as we head into the final weekend of the high school football regular season, we proclaim to all that there are no exits and zero entries into this weekly edition of the Trib 10.
However, that doesn’t mean Week 8 was business as usual for the 20 power-ranked teams in the district.
In order to have a good round of the card game Uno, you need a good shuffling of the deck.
That was the case in the big school Trib 10, as the same 10 schools remained, but musical chairs centered around Pine-Richland throttling North Allegheny and Upper St. Clair falling to Moon in two clashes of ranked teams to give this week’s edition a new look.
There were nowhere near the changes in the small school rankings, with the only move coming after Southmoreland tasted defeat for the first time in a loss to No. 5 Elizabeth Forward, dropping the Scotties from No. 7 to No. 10.
Nothing changes at the top, though, as Central Catholic and Avonworth continue to sit at No. 1 in their respective rankings.
