A pair of shows at the Roxian Theatre in McKees Rocks were canceled or postponed this weekend, with “unexpected maintenance” cited as the reason.
Saturday night’s show featuring alt metal band From Ashes To New has been rescheduled to Dec. 18, while Sunday’s show featuring the electronic/hip hop duo Hippie Sabotage was cancelled.
“We’re truly bummed to inform you that tonights show at Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA has been rescheduled to December, 18th due to venue facility issues,” From Ashes To New band said in an Instagram post on Saturday.
The band told fans they would still be doing the VIP experience in the Roxian’s foyer, while tickets for Saturday’s show will be good for the rescheduled date.
A post on the Roxian Theatre’s Facebook page said ticket holders for Hippie Sabotage would be automatically refunded if tickets were purchased through Ticketmaster. If tickets were bought through an app like StubHub or SeatGeek, ticket holders should reach out to those third-party resellers.
The next show scheduled at the Roxian comes Tuesday with English heavy metal band Loathe.
