For many years now, the Pittsburgh Steelers have become a .500 team under the coaching of Mike Tomlin.

Tomlin inherited a Super Bowl team from Bill Cowher — period! Tomlin has turned the team into a .500 team. That’s good enough for him, but not for us, the fans. Since then, it has been a slow degradation of a great organization that Art Rooney Sr. built.

The question is, when will the Rooney family stop this abomination?

We, the fans, are witnessing the Steelers of the ’50s when they were the joke of the NFL. Do we have to wait another two years before the Rooneys make a decision to bring back the respect the Steelers have had for many years, or will “.500 is good enough” be the future of the Pittsburgh Steelers?
