The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has announced the dates for the 2026 Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, which will also represent the grand opening of the new Arts Landing location in the Cultural District of Downtown Pittsburgh.

The festival will run from June 5-7 and June 11-14 — a total of seven days with a midweek pause. This means a re-expansion of the Arts Festival after 2025’s abbreviated program, which only ran from June 5-8 in the Strip District earlier this year.

The new venue at Arts Landing is under construction, and the Cultural Trust said in a release that progress is on time and on budget for the new outdoor civic space. Groundbreaking for the project was held in April, and a soft opening of the space is expected to be held in early April ahead of its public use during the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, April 23-25.

After some final touches are completed in April and May, the Arts Festival will be the space’s grand opening event. This will be the long-term location for the annual event.

“The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival is the perfect event to introduce Arts Landing to Pittsburgh,” says Kendra Whitlock Ingram, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, in a release. “Arts Landing is all about bringing people together — for art, music and everyday recreation. Our grand opening marks a big step forward for the Cultural District and we can’t wait to welcome the community.”

Visitors can look forward to a Great Lawn and permanent stage area, new public art, a play space for families and other amenities.

The Cultural Trust also put out a call on Wednesday for artists to participate in the 2026 Arts Festival. Applications for the Artist Market, Emerging Artist Scholarship Application, Juried Visual Art Exhibition and Performing Arts will be accepted through Jan. 31 at TrustArts.org/TRAFapply.
