Mimi Thiero scored 31 points to lead Quaker Valley to a 47-34 victory over Chartiers Valley (0-6) in nonsection girls basketball Saturday. Keira Watson added 13 points for the Quakers (1-3).
Bethel Park 47, Mt. Lebanon 41 – Isabella Coleman scored 12 points off of four 3-pointers as Bethel Park (2-2) beat Mt. Lebanon (1-4) in a nonsection game. Fiona O’Neill added 11 points for Bethel Park while Addy Owen and Naiya Turner had 10 points each. Cali Green led Mt. Lebanon with 12 points.
Butler 62, McDowell 47 – Malina McElroy and Jules Lockwood had 14 points each as Butler (5-1) defeated McDowell in nonsection play. Kasey Netkowicz scored a game-high 21 points in the loss.
Canon-McMillan 42, Bishop O’Connell 38 – Faye Saunders had six points, 10 rebounds and five assists as Canon-McMillan (6-0) beat Bishop O’Connell (Va.) at She Got Game DC.
Laurel 47, West Middlesex 32 – Alexis Bair scored 14 points and Jael Henderson added 12 for Laurel (4-1) in a nonsection win. Lucy Briggs scored 16 and Jen Babcock chipped in 10 for West Middlesex.
Sharon 67, Aquinas Academy 55 – Antoine Samuels scored 19 points and Ghafair Lamkin added 10 to lead Sharon at the Shootout at La Roche. Sam Duer scored 21, Jonah Burchill added 15 and Clayton Frissora had 13 for Aquinas Academy (2-3).
Somerset Academy 57, North Catholic 37 – At She Got Game DC, Alanna Fabrini scored 18 points as Somerset Academy (Fla.) defeated North Catholic (2-2). Delanie Doty added 13 points while Alana Pinnock tallied 11 points. Brady Wehner paced North Catholic with 12 points and Harmony Jones added 11.

Cheswick Christian Academy 55, Trinity Christian 29 – Brady Rochkind had a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds and Joseph Rosio added 20 points to lead Cheswick Christian Academy (3-3). Graham Hughes led Trinity Christian with 16 points.
Frazier 45, Greensburg Central Catholic 33 – Kolby Stewart scored 27 points to lead Frazier (4-3, 1-0) to a Section 1-2A win. Luke Semelka picked up 15 points for Greensburg Central Catholic (0-4, 0-1).
Laurel 65, West Middlesex 40 – Mason Ernst hit for 24 points and Tyrone Kunselman added 11 to help Laurel (4-1) to a nonsection win. Shawn Huffman scored 11 for West Middlesex.
Loudoun Valley (VA) 62, Penn-Trafford 58 – Aidan O’Connor had 10 points as Loudoun Valley beat Penn-Trafford (1-5) at the John Handley Showcase in Winchester, Va. Ethan McDonald paced Penn-Trafford with 17 points while Ben Lenart and Zach Feldman contributed 15 and 12 points respectively.
Montour 52, South Allegheny 42 – Loic Kalau scored 14 points and Mark Carter and Brandon Bennett added 12 points each to send Montour (1-4) to a win at the Shootout at La Roche. Drew Cook scored 19 and Fisher Ielease added 12 for South Allegheny (4-2).
Sewickley Academy 75, Eden Christian 44 – Lucas Grimsley and Mamadou Kane had 14 points each as Sewickley Academy (4-0, 1-0) beat Eden Christian (4-1, 0-1) in Section 2-2A. Samuel D’Ippolito led Eden Christian with 14 points while Mason Dean added 12 points.
South Park 53, Carrick 37 – In nonsection play, Nolan Oliphant scored 16 points as South Park (4-0) beat Carrick (4-3). Luke Scarff added 12 points while Cooper Hochendoner contributed 11. Luzay Watson’s 17 points led Carrick.
