3 men jailed in alleged rape of 2 teens in McKees Rocks
Three men are behind bars after Allegheny County Police said they restrained two girls, ages 14 and 16, and raped them in a McKees Rocks home, according to court papers.
Amaud Berry, 18, who has addresses in Clairton and Virginia; Andre Hines, 20, and Dashawn Hines, 18, both of McKees Rocks, are charged with rape, conspiracy, unlawful restraint and related offenses. It was unclear if the two Hines men are related. They have the same address in court papers.
Police said they were called Sunday afternoon and found the two girls walking on Ewing Road in Kennedy. They were taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital, police said in court papers.
The girls reported to authorities they used drugs at a gathering the night before at a Castle View Drive home and were restrained and raped by the suspects. One of the girls said a gun was held to her head.
Police said in court papers they seized two guns from the home. All three suspects were arraigned Monday evening and are being held at the Allegheny County Jail without bail. None had attorneys listed in online court records.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Dec. 23.
A woman who lives at the home told Trib news partner WTAE that she didn’t know anything was amiss until police showed up.
“The two girls are lying. They were not raped. They set my grandsons up,” said Karen Hines.
