Pitt announced its full 2026 football schedule Tuesday afternoon, including a nine-game ACC slate.
The Panthers, who recently revealed the cancellation of next season’s contest with Wisconsin, instead will play Bucknell on Sept. 26.
Miami (Ohio) will travel to Acrisure Stadium on Sept. 5 and serve as the Panthers’ 2026 opener, followed by a visit from Central Florida for a nonconference game Sept. 12.
Previously revealed ACC opponents consisted of visits to Boston College, Louisville, Miami and Virginia Tech, whereas the Panthers will host Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Syracuse.

A road game at California was added to the mix, becoming the ninth ACC game on Pitt’s schedule for next season.
The Panthers and Bears met for the first time after Cal joined the ACC from the Pac-12 in 2024, resulting in a 17-15 home win for Pitt. Previously, the programs had not met on the gridiron since 1966.
In September, the ACC officially agreed to move to a nine-game league schedule, with full implementation expected in 2027, per ESPN.
Dates, kickoff times and TV broadcast details for the conference games have yet to be announced.
