A Tractor Supply store in the Kinloch section of Lower Burrell is set open in the spring.
A company spokeswoman said the store, located at a currently vacant lot next to a Family Dollar store along Greensburg Road, plans a soft opening in late March.
The grand opening is planned for mid-April.
Store officials had previously planned a November opening date. It’s unclear why the opening was delayed.
Tractor Supply is a national retail chain that sells products including clothing, equine and pet supplies, tractor or trailer parts and accessories, lawn and garden supplies, power tools, fencing, and mowers.
Special features at the Lower Burrell Tractor Supply will include a pet wash, garden center and feed center, the spokeswoman said.
“The new store will provide about 15 news jobs to the area, with at least half of those being full-time positions,” she said.

Nearby Tractor Supply locations include Harrison, Kittanning, Murrysville and Richland.
Lower Burrell Mayor Chris Fabry is excited for the new business.
“Anytime you see a project like this taking shape, it reinforces that Lower Burrell is a city worth investing in,” Fabry said. “The spring opening of Tractor Supply is another strong step forward as we continue to grow our commercial base.
“Projects like Tractor Supply are exactly why we’re optimistic about the year ahead. As we look toward 2026, we expect it to be a very exciting year for Lower Burrell with continued development, new opportunities and progress residents can actually see.”
