Bingo bash planned in Lower Burrell
Memorial Park Ball Hockey Club will sponsor a bingo bash at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Lower Burrell Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1601 Wildlife Lodge Road.
Doors open at noon. Tickets are $35 and include one food item and one drink. There will be 16 regular games that will pay $100 each, four specials that pay $150, a jackpot game pays $1,000, a basket auction, special games and a 50-50 raffle. The venue is non-smoking and no seats will be reserved.

Food pantry available Mondays
Streetlight Ministries in Tarentum offers a weekly food pantry for anyone in need from noon to 2 p.m. Mondays at 203 W. Seventh Ave.
There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule after 8:30 a.m. Mondays and people are admitted through the line in order of sign up.
A variety of breads, sweet goods, canned items, produce and meats will be available. Walk-ins are welcome but will admitted after those who have registered.
