Calix Clark scored 18 points to lead Penn Hills to a 60-47 boys basketball victory over Elizabeth Forward in the championship game of the South Allegheny holiday tournament on Saturday.

Darian Robinson tallied 13 points and Amon Hawthorne added 11 for Penn Hills (5-4). Tyler Basic led Elizabeth Forward (6-4) with 22 points and four 3-pointers while Daniel Spence added 17 points and three 3-pointers.

Apollo-Ridge 56, Leechburg 39 – Zane Beatty scored 27 points and host Apollo-Ridge (7-3) used a 22-2 run in the third quarter to turn a six-point halftime deficit into a 17-point victory at the Apollo Trust Christmas Tournament. Rocco Vigna scored 15 to lead Leechburg (2-8).

Avella 59, Fort Cherry 51 – Cameron Ullom scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures for the host Eagles (7-1) in the Avella tournament. Brayden Fuller added 14, Nate Cilia had 12 and Bryce Wright chipped in 10 for Avella, which used a 23-point second quarter to take control. Landon Trnavsky scored 25 and Gavin Grace had 11 for Fort Cherry (4-3).

Beth-Center 72, Carmichaels 38 – Brayden Hull scored 21 points and Parker Amos added 17 to lead Beth-Center (5-3) at the Carmichaels tournament. Jason Zellie had 12 and Brayden Ozohonish chipped in 11 for the Bulldogs. Stephen Lewis scored 11 and Scott Maskill had 10 for the Mighty Mikes (1-7).

Brashear 59, Geibel Catholic 57 – Led by 15 points from Trevon Rosario-Jones, 13 from Nasir Thomas and 12 from Mason Dick, Brashear (4-7) won the championship game of the Burgettstown tournament. Evan Strimel scored 24, Seth Dolan contributed 12 and Anthony Nickischer had 11 for Geibel Catholic (6-3).

Fort Hill (MD) 55, Armstrong 34 – Jameson Powell-Morris scored 13 points and Liam Hamilton had 11 to lead Fort Hill at the Allegany tournament. Jaydon Oliver led Armstrong (4-7) with 10 points.

Franklin Regional 69, South Allegheny 46 – Anthony Mitchell scored 27 points to lead Franklin Regional in the consolation game of the South Allegheny tournament. Alec Masten added 15 points for the Panthers (8-2), who took control with a 22-point second quarter. Drew Cook led South Allegheny (7-4) with 32 points, including four 3-pointers.

Highlands 85, Latrobe 78 – Carmine Lacava scored a game-high 24 points and Troy Bielak added 23 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks as Highlands (6-4) went 2-0 at the Plum tournament. Preston Foster added 22 points for the Golden Rams. Ian DeCerb and Dom Scarton scored 19 points each and Michael Monious followed with 18 for Latrobe (3-7).

Jefferson-Morgan 69, Mapletown 17 – Jeremiah Robertson and Jaymison Robinson each scored 14 points to lead Jefferson-Morgan (9-0) past Mapletown (0-9) at the Carmichaels tournament.

Keystone Oaks 50, Beaver 39 – Isaac Russell scored 15 points and Joseph Colton added 10 to lead Keystone Oaks (9-1) to a nonsection win. Logan Weiland and Sincere Sky scored 11 points each and Junior Marino added 10 for Beaver (4-4).

Knoch 60, Plum 37 – Teegan Finucan scored 22 points and Vinnie DeFelice added 15 as Knoch (7-2) jumped out to a 16-6 lead after one quarter and cruised to victory at the Plum tournament. Bryce Nabozny totaled 21 points for the host Mustangs (2-8).

Laurel 75, Freedom 49 – Mason Ernst had 19 points as Laurel (7-2) beat Freedom (1-7) at the Wilmington tournament. Anthony Ziccardi added 13 points for Laurel while Tyler Stewart had 12 and Tyrone Kunselman contributed 10. Chase Andrews scored 15 points for Freedom, which led by three points at halftime before being outscored 44-15 in the second half.

McKeesport 49, Fairview 47 (OT) – Lamont Perkins scored 21 points and McKeesport (6-2) rallied from a 10-point deficit after three quarters to win in overtime at the Holiday Bash at Butler. Alex Price led Fairview with 14 points.

Mohawk 54, Sharon 37 – Bobby Fadden scored 25 points, Joey Nail added 13 and Mohawk (8-1) used a 12-5 run in the second quarter to take control of the championship game of the Sharon tournament. Cedrick Boyd led Sharon with 11 points.

Mt. Lebanon 60, Jefferson City (MO) 54 – Carter Gould hit five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points and Liam Sheely made four 3-pointers and ended up with 16 points to lead Mt. Lebanon (6-2) at the Great 8 Classic in Jefferson City, Mo. Ryan Kokot added 11 for the Blue Devils while Tyler Lumeford led Jefferson City with 29 points.

Parrish Community (FL) 68, Mars 36 – Chris and Evan Roberts scored 20 points apiece to lead Parrish Community (FL) at the Tampa Bay Invitational. Ben Detisch led Mars (6-3) with 10 points.

Ringgold 79, Brownsville 37 – Takeo Tolliver led the way with 17 points as Ringgold (7-2) scored 53 points in the first half of a win at the Charleroi tournament. Dennis Hawkins added 12 points and Braylen Lomax had 11 for the Rams. Jaiden Praster and Kaden Wimmer each scored 10 for Brownsville (0-7).

Riverside 79, Burgettstown 43 – McCartney Plassmeyer hit four 3-pointers and finished with 29 points and Cole Becker added 12 points to lead Riverside (6-3) in the consolation game of the Burgettstown tournament. Trent Stevens hit four 3-pointers and ended up with 14 points for the host Blue Devils (1-8).

Seneca Valley 59, Leto (FL) 52 – Ryan Priester hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead Seneca Valley (4-4) over Leto (FL) at the Tampa Bay Invitational. Andrew Omasits added 15 points for Seneca Valley while K.J. Riggs paced Leto with 14 points.

Seton LaSalle 54, Springdale 41 – DayVaughn Williams had 18 points to lead Seton LaSalle (8-3) over Springdale (4-5) in the championship game of the Aquinas tournament. Gabe Gizzi added 13 points and Jaleel Wright had 12 for Seton LaSalle. Liam Dexter led Springdale with 13 points while Robby Simmen had 12 and Trevor Clark added 10.

South Park 60, Carlynton 31 – Luke Scarff scored 22 points and Cooper Hochendoner added 16 to power South Park (7-1) at the Charleroi tournament. Dwayne Fisher led Carlynton (3-6) with 10 points.

Summit Academy 69, Trinity Christian 53 – Ky’zir Rowan hit four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead Summit Academy (6-1) at the Apollo-Ridge tournament. Demetrius Crosby added 14 and Khalil Ollie had 12 for Summit. Graham Hughes led Trinity Christian with 28 points.

Thomas Jefferson 59, West Allegheny 58 – Nick Trklja had 19 points and Justin Fry added 18 as Thomas Jefferson (9-0) beat the host team at the West Allegheny tournament. Josiah Johnson scored a game-high 28 points and sank six 3-pointers for West Allegheny (5-4).

Uniontown 60, Southmoreland 43 – Nolan Baker scored 17 points to lead four players in double figures for Uniontown (4-5) at the Charleroi tournament. Isaac Ellsworth added 13, Cameron Dugan had 11 and Chase White chipped in 10. Noah Felentzer led Southmoreland (4-5) with 19 points.

Winchester Thurston 69, Aquinas Academy 65 – In the consolation game of the Aquinas Academy tournament, Tahj Smith scored 20 points as Winchester Thurston (8-3) claimed the win. Anthony Pipkin chipped in 15 points, Mike Hammerling tacked on 13 and Peyton Cowell recorded 10. Sam Duer scored a game-high 24 points for Aquinas Academy (3-7) while Clayton Frissora tallied 14 points and Jonah Burchill had 13.

Baldwin 74, Elizabeth Forward 44 – Laci Bernotas hit five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points to lead Baldwin (9-1) in the championship game of the Betsy Invitational at Elizabeth Forward. Julianna Ott scored 16 points, Isabella Niles added 14 and Hannah Prilla had 12 for the Highlanders. Mia Sostaric scored 16 and Addison Wach had 10 for Elizabeth Forward (7-4).

Beth-Center 61, Charleroi 44 – Violet Trump scored 24 points to lead the host Bulldogs (4-5) at the Beth-Center tournament. Mary Bower added 13 and Kyleigh McDaniel had 12 for Beth-Center. Eden Smith led Charleroi (3-7) with 19 points.

Beth-Center 57, Albert Gallatin 29 – Violet Trump scored 24 points, Alexia Fischer added 15 and the Bulldogs (4-5) won their second game of the night at the Beth-Center tournament. Paiton Louis led Albert Gallatin (0-8) with 12 points.

Bishop Guilfoyle 51, Neshannock 26 – Stella Yeskey scored 16 points and Morgan Ruggery added 14 as two-time defending PIAA Class A champ Bishop Guilfoyle won at the Holiday Bash at Butler. Payton Newman and Lilly Cain each scored nine for Neshannock (4-3).

Deer Lakes 51, Apollo-Ridge 41 – Led by 19 points from Delaney DeRose, 15 from Josie Farster and 10 from Sydney Sharkins, Deer Lakes (6-2) defeated host Apollo-Ridge (2-8) at the Apollo Trust Christmas Tournament.

Fort Cherry 52, McGuffey 12 – Allison Litman scored 15 points and 11 rebounds and Gianna Bianchini added 11 points to lead Fort Cherry (6-4) past the host Highlanders (7-4) in the championship game of the McGuffey tournament

Hampton 35, Fort Dorchester (SC) 34 (2OT) – Ellie Klocko scored 11 points and Brynn Rodgers added 10 as Hampton (9-1) won in double overtime at the Carolina Low Country Invitational. Malaysia McKinley scored 10 for Fort Dorchester (SC).

Latrobe 64, Southmoreland 28 – Maggie Maiers scored 21 points and Julianna Bulebosh added 12 as Latrobe (5-3) won the second game of a Saturday doubleheader at the three-team holiday tournament hosted by the Wildcats. Leah Moore led Southmoreland (1-11) with 13 points.

Marion Center 56, Freeport 39 – Alivia Ruddock scored 16 points, Natalie Black added 14 and Averi Ruddock chipped in 10 to lead Marion Center at the Redbank Valley tournament. Lilly Holloway scored nine to lead Freeport (5-5).

McKeesport 61, Gateway 27 – Dannah Sebelia scored 35 points and hit seven 3-pointers to lead McKeesport (6-5) over Gateway (2-7) in the consolation game of the Betsy Invitational at Elizabeth Forward. Sunny Harper added 12 points for McKeesport.

Oakland Catholic 66, Boyd Anderson (FL) 9 – Ellie Junker scored 11 points and Josie Fontana added 10 to lead Oakland Catholic (6-1) at the Holiday Basketball Classic at the Palm Beaches.

River Valley 68, Highlands 10 – Kennedy Cole scored 16 points to lead River Valley (6-3) past Highlands (0-10) at the Apollo-Ridge tournament.

Uniontown 69, Carmichaels 16 – Aierra Jenkins scored 27 points to lead Uniontown (6-2) at the Carmichaels tournament. Lyric McLee added 11 and Aubree Long had 10 for the Red Raiders. Ke’lani Chun led the Mighty Mikes (1-8) with eight points.

Waynesburg 74, Jefferson-Morgan 9 – Peyton Cowell had 15 points as Waynesburg (7-1) downed Jefferson-Morgan (4-4) in the Carmichaels tournament. Tess Pauley added 14 points, Addonae Johnson had 13 points and four 3-pointers and Kendall McKay scored 10 points. Beautiful Medlen led Jefferson-Morgan with seven points.
