Bingo bash planned by Memorial Park Ball Hockey
Memorial Park Ball Hockey Club will sponsor a bingo bash at 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Lower Burrell Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1601 Wildlife Lodge Road.
Doors open at noon. Tickets are $35 and include one food item and one drink. There will be 16 regular games that will pay $100 each, four specials that pay $150, a jackpot game pays $1,000, a basket auction, special games and a 50-50 raffle. The venue is non-smoking and no seats will be reserved.

Free grief workshop to address the ‘firsts’ in our lives
Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries will sponsor a free grief workshop for adults, “Facing the Firsts (And Even the Seconds),” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17 at its location at 116 Browns Hill Road, Middlesex Township.
The event will focus on how to face all of the firsts and seconds such as anniversaries, birthdays, spring holidays and more on your grief journey. Lunch will be served.
