A mean pass-rusher coming out of Penn-Trafford and the WPIAL’s top two-way lineman as a senior, Joe Enick is set to join his third college football program.

He began his college career at Central Michigan, but the 6-foot-2, 288-pounder became antsy after one season and transferred to Saint Francis.

He reentered the NCAA transfer portal and is primed to make a mark at the Division II level.

Last week, he announced he has committed to IUP, where he will be a redshirt junior offensive lineman.

A move by Saint Francis to go from Division I athletics to Division III prompted a wave of athletes to leave Loretto.

Enick redshirted in his only year at Central Michigan. He played 10 games this season and six in 2024.

Enick, who started at center for Penn-Trafford in 2021 when it won WPIAL and PIAA 5A championships, was the winner of the Bill Fralic Memorial Award in 2022.

He was a two-time all-state selection and came out of high school as a three-star prospect.

Enick was a PIAA qualifier in wrestling as a heavyweight.

• Linebacker Cole Sullivan, who will be a junior, had a breakout season at Michigan as he made 44 tackles, five for loss, and had two sacks and three interceptions. But he is changing lanes for next season.

Sullivan, who is from North Huntingdon, is transferring to Oklahoma.

Sullivan made seven stops in the Citrus Bowl against Texas. He played in 12 games as a freshman.

• Julian Walker, a running back who played at Saint Vincent the last two seasons, announced he is transferring to Division I FBS Louisiana-Monroe. This season, Walker led the Bearcats with 564 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 98 carries. He ran for 140 yards against Bethany.

Walker finished with 698 rushing yards in his time at SVC.
