Western Pennsylvania natives Cal Adomitis and Daequan Hardy were among 13 players signed Wednesday by the Pittsburgh Steelers to reserve/future contracts.

Also signed were wide receivers Cole Burgess, John Rhys Plumlee and Max Hurleman, defensive ends Anthony Goodlow and K.J. Henry, defensive tackle Kyler Baugh, defensive back Jack Henderson, linebacker Julius Welschof, guard Steven Jones, offensive tackle Aiden Williams and running back Lew Nichols.

All except Burgess spent time on the Steelers practice squad this season. Burgess was with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Adomitis and Hardy are former WPIAL players.

The Steelers signed Adomitis, a long snapper from Central Catholic and Pitt, to the practice squad Dec. 19. He was previously with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played nine games this season. He played 49 games with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2022-24.

A cornerback from Penn Hills and Penn State, Hardy joined the Steelers’ practice squad midseason. He was a sixth-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2024.
