Julian Semplice hit four 3-pointers, scored 24 points and reached the 1,000-point mark for his career, leading Chartiers Valley to a 73-44 victory over Allderdice in nonsection boys basketball Wednesday night.

Luca Federico and Silas Verzich each added 13 points for the Colts (13-1). Anthony Abrahams led Allderdice (9-7) with 10 points.

Mohawk 82, Hopewell 47 – Bobby Fadden poured in 30 points, and beat the halftime buzzer with a 3-pointer to reach the 2,000-point mark for his career, in a nonsection win for Mohawk (13-1). Vinny Pezzuolo sank four 3- pointers and finished with 12 points and Drew Wrona also scored 12 for the Warriors. James “Booboo” Armstrong put up 16 for Hopewell (7-7).

Bentworth 66, Charleroi 49 – Ben Hays scored 29 points and Bentworth (10-3) used an 18-7 advantage in the second quarter to pull away for a nonsection win. Ryan Moessner added 15 points and Levi Urcho and Adam Moessner each had 10 for the Bearcats. Brayden Todaro scored 16, Xavion Thomas had 13 and Jackson Keranko chipped in with 10 for Charleroi (8-8).

Blackhawk 86, New Brighton 72 – Marco Fusetti buried eight 3-pointers and poured in 51 points to power Blackhawk (5-10, 1-6) to a nonsection win. Carter Davis recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds and Grant Huston added 13 points for the Cougars. Joey Kennedy scored 23 points, Dash Graham followed with 19 and Carter Jackson had 16 for New Brighton (6-8, 1-6).

Brentwood 61, Westinghouse 49 – Deng Mu dropped 25 points and Xhavier Nunez finished with 17 to lead Brentwood (8-7) to a nonsection win. Tommy Moses scored 18 points for Westinghouse (4-7).

Gateway 50, Belle Vernon 46 – Mykel Bruce-McCromnon led all scorers with 20 points to pace Gateway (8-5, 7-1) in a nonsection win. Luca Ghilani scored 14 points and Elijah Majors chipped in 11 for Belle Vernon (9-7, 5-2).

McGuffey 48, Carmichaels 29 – Kolt McGowan put up 21 points and Sam Stout followed with 15 as McGuffey (8-8) defeated Carmichaels (3-10) in nonsection play.

Riverside 52, Beaver County Christian 28 – Cole Beckner scored 21 points, McCartney Plassmeyer added 13 and Logan Young contributed 10 for Riverside (11-3) in a nonsection win. Ethan Schmidt scored 13 for Beaver County Christian (4-7).

Girls basketball

Burgettstown 48, Bentworth 18 – Paige Klodowski connected for 20 points and Savanna Rush added 13 to send Burgettstown (12-4) to a nonsection win. Elizabeth Wade led Bentworth (6-9) with five points.

Carlynton 46, Steel Valley 37 – Lucy Vetter hit for 20 points to power Carlynton (4-9) to a nonsection win. Aniylah Childs led Steel Valley (1-15) with eight points.

Fox Chapel 58, Kiski Area 56 – Lyla Jablon scored 22 points and Fox Chapel (8-7) came back from a four-point halftime deficit for a nonsection win. Nina Kulikowski added 13 points and Emily McKee had 10 for the Foxes. Olivia Strellec scored 17, Jada Blanciak followed with 15 and Gianna DeVito put up 14 for Kiski Area (7-6).

Jeannette 46, Northgate 22 – Navarah Smith put up 24 points and Leah DeFelice added nine to help Jeannette (10-4) to a nonsection win. Hope Statler led Northgate (4-9) with 12.

Trinity 63, Knoch 31 – Sutton Williamson put up 14 points, Vitt Emerich added 11 and Jordyn Burt and Bently Layhue each finished with 10 to power Trinity (11-3) to a nonsection win. Neah Ewing poured in 12 points for Knoch (1-13).

Western Beaver 45, Freedom 20 – Liz Squicquero put up 30 points and made four 3-pointers and Taraji Backur added 11 to lead Western Beaver (5-8, 3-5) to a nonsection win over Freedom (3-11).
