A progressive Pennsylvania group that has already pledged to back a primary opponent against Sen. John Fetterman in 2028 has unveiled a website that will help unhappy donors get refunds for their contributions to him.

The Pennsylvania Working Families Party on Friday said PrimaryFetterman.com will be the hub for its efforts to oust the first-term Democratic senator who has alienated many Democrats with his views on Israel and support for its Gaza military offensive, votes for Trump administration officials and support of Trump policies.

“While Senator John Fetterman is supporting Trump’s use of American tax dollars to ‘run’ Venezuela or buy Greenland, 500,000 Pennsylvanians are about to see their healthcare premiums rise because of the Republican budget bill he supported,” WFP’s mid-Atlantic communications director Nick Gavio said in a statement.

Gavio, a former Fetterman 2022 campaign staffer who later served on the senator’s communications team, said “people across Pennsylvania did not put time, money and energy into supporting his campaign just to elect a Democrat who votes against our interests time and time again. We need new leadership.”

In November, the WFP announced that it would actively recruit candidates to challenge Fetterman in the 2028 Democratic primary.

The new website offers what the WFP called “a unique tool allowing deceived Fetterman donors” to request refunds for their contributions to his campaign “with just a few clicks.”

Additionally, the website offers the “Fetterman Sell Out Tracker,” which will monitor his voters and positions.

The tracker “will be continuously updated with new information as the senator supplies it — which occurs regularly,” the WFP said in a statement.

WFP also said that it would back digital ads to put the refund tool onto social media platforms. The party launched an online portal and plans on holding recruitment and training events across the state for various offices, including the Senate seat.
