Rolling closures on Interstate 70 are expected this week as crews will be placing beams for the new Crawford Lane Bridge in Rostraver, according to PennDOT.
The closures will take place between 7 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday in both directions, weather permitting. They will last no more than 15 minutes each to allow crews to lift and set the beams onto the abutments.
The bridge carries Crawford Lane over Interstate 70 and connects to Finley Road west of the Route 51 interchange.
There also will be lane restrictions on the existing bridge, Interstate 70 and Finley Road.
The work is part of a $89 million project at the Arnold City interchange being handled by Golden Triangle Construction Company. It involves widening the road and reconstructing the interchange and ramps to and from Interstate 70.
