Some Democrats treat Immigration and Customs Enforcement like the villain in a high school play — except they forgot they’re in the real world. Lots of yelling. Fake crying. Dramatic gasps. Signs, hashtags and calls for “resistance” everywhere. Meanwhile, most Americans are just trying to get through the day.

Front and center? White suburban liberal women, holding signs, feeling heroic and morally superior — unaware that Democratic officials are tossing them into a situation with real consequences.

The protesters? Stagehands scrambling backstage. Moving props. Shouting lines. Then vanishing when the curtain falls. No one remembers them.

Backstage? Democratic officials sipping coffee, taking selfies, rehearsing their next rant. They barely notice the rest of the school — or the community — rolling their eyes.

Republicans? Leaning against the lockers. Arms crossed. “Here we go again.” Tired of the theatrics. Tired of being painted as villains.

Democrats call ICE agents “Gestapo” and “slave patrols.” Over-the-top language that could win an Oscar — if life were a stage instead of a country with real jobs, laws and consequences.

After the unfortunate death of a woman apparently emboldened to impede law enforcement during a Minneapolis ICE operation, Mayor Jacob Frey delivered a vulgarity-laced speech urging protest even before the facts were fully known (reported by local media outlets). One of his initial statements encouraged peaceful protest. Others played more like performance for the cameras. Residents were left unsure whether to grab a sign — or something far more dangerous. Meanwhile, Democratic legislators insisted ICE’s presence was causing fear and chaos throughout the city.

State Democrats piled on, threatening to strip ICE of resources. They treated real-life law enforcement like the next act in a drama club production.

The Democrats’ rhetoric isn’t just theater — it’s fueling anti-establishment factions and stirring unrest. Front and center, white suburban liberal women hold signs, feeling heroic and morally superior, caught up in the drama. Behind them, Democratic officials unleash unhinged rhetoric, calls for “resistance” and theatrical posturing, giving their voting base a green light for civil unrest. Meanwhile, the rest of America — the hardworking blue-collar folks, the majority of the country — just shake their heads and roll their eyes.

Calls for impeachment? Gold stars for volume. The loudest performers get attention. The people doing the work? Ignored.

Bottom line: Drama is loud. Performances constant. Consequences real.

ICE agents, DHS officials and everyday Americans just want the noise to stop.

Real life isn’t a stage.

And the majority of the country? They’ve stopped clapping.

It’s time to take the power away from the theater drama club kids and let the adults run the school.
