Art entries sought for America 250 celebration
The Westmoreland Historical Society welcomes artists to participate in “Many Stories, One Place,” a commemoration of the county’s heritage.
Original artwork inspired by the county’s history in all mediums is welcome including visual art, mixed media, photography, fiber and sculpture. There is no submission fee. Selected works will be featured as part of the America 250 programming and cash prizes will be awarded.

Night of comedy planned at Sardis VFD
A night of comedy to benefit Sardis Volunteer Fire Department will be Jan. 31 at the fire company’s social hall, 5205 Rocky Hill Lane, Murrysville.
